The average processing time for student visa before the covid 19 for sds students was 21 days, than after covid it changed to 12 weeks than to 18 weeks and now to 29 weeks for Pakistani students. For indian students its still 2 weeks. U can chk it on ircc website
IRCC website only has processing time line for normal applications (NON-SDS) which too is 11 weeks as per link below
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...vices/application/check-processing-times.html

From where have you seen 29 weeks ????

Seems like you keeping up with updates thats good. Do you know when they going to start processing again. Already deferred may intake. Hoping to get a decision before September intake.

some people got approval .i saw some post on this forum.my nephews gcms notes show last updat on 16th match after that nothing.i think when mostly embassies are opened they will start working on application. As you have gave interview already 2 months before and now only your final decision is pending it is in embassy which is closed.people who get their decisions now a days are those whose application are under processing in Edmonton Canada. and thats also is also slow and delayed due to less staff and load of application

So Ontario will most likely have delay in application. At this point i could care less if they send approval or refusal as long decision is out. 30k CAD is sitting in Canada and atleast i can get that soon enough. The way things are moving i dont think they are going to process applications anytime soon. I guess all we can do at this point is wait....
