I don't think so. All Air Canada flights from Shanghai to Vancouver in June disappeared.so I read that air canada will not fly out of Beijing, but is waiting for permission to fly out of Shanghai is this correct?

I know that air canada is flying out of Hong Kong still, what about fly from mainland China to Hong Kong then to Vancouver, or would they want mainlanders to quarantine for 14 daysI don't think so. All Air Canada flights from Shanghai to Vancouver in June disappeared.
Probably not a good idea.I know that air canada is flying out of Hong Kong still, what about fly from mainland China to Hong Kong then to Vancouver, or would they want mainlanders to quarantine for 14 days
But there used to be flights between Pudong to Shenzhen as well (not sure if it is the case currently). Yes, I'm not a local Chinese but I'm a frequent traveler At Hongqiao, there used to be flights to/from Hong Kong (and Japan) as well as Shenzhen. The one for domestic is called HongQiao airport, the one for international is called Pudong airport (there maybe some domestic business at Pudong), they have been like this from the very beginning (though many many years ago, there is only HongQiao airport). You must not be "local"
That is not viable either. HKG airport stopped transfer service back in March and will continue stopping this service until further notice. Land cross is possible but subject to 14 days quarantine restriction.I know that air canada is flying out of Hong Kong still, what about fly from mainland China to Hong Kong then to Vancouver, or would they want mainlanders to quarantine for 14 days
yeah maybe best thing to do is wait, hopefully some changes in October or November this year. That is not viable either. Taipei transfer is not possible either due to travel restriction to Taiwan by Chinese government.
The only possibility at this point if to route from Japan (HND airport) by ANA and Air Canada, but there is very limited vacancy and unpredictable.
Why do you jump to October? July still looks promising and that is my plan to fly in July, and travel ban is hopefully is lifted as well.yeah maybe best thing to do is wait, hopefully some changes in October or November this year.
This is year is going to be different. I don't think there will be many tourists from China. The price for July is even cheaper than June.I was thinking October/November because it's off peck times for travelers, I know people travel anytime of the year, but summer is idle time for tourism for Vancouver and Toronto if they lift travel restrictions for bc and open airlines to operate in/out of yvr during the summer holidays it will be hard to find a ticket, and at reasonable price, not alone China has not lifted there restrictions for flights yet so they only allow limited number of international flights out and in there country now, from what I am reading online, air Canada is looking to only fly out if possible two locations in China one Hong Kong, and if they get permission from Chinese government Shanghai, also trying to use different airlines and bounce from different countries to land in Canada is extremely low chance for people and super I high cost, but air Canada said Beijing is not on the list to fly into or out of for now. I am willing to pay for another flight for my wife kid on a different airline and just get that voucher from air Canada and safe it for later as it will not expire and we will visit China in the future again for vacation, but I need to find a flight.
what airline is cheaper in July? I donot trust air Canada Flights right now, they just take your money then cancel then you can't get your money back, the Question is which city in China to fly out of? what airline? what month? This is year is going to be different. I don't think there will be many tourists from China. The price for July is even cheaper than June.
But Air Canada holds the money for booking without refund. The rule is very strange and strict, if the price for future flight is cheaper, they will not refund any money but forfeit it. That is like robbery.
It's definitely different this year. This is year is going to be different. I don't think there will be many tourists from China. The price for July is even cheaper than June.

Probably Shanghai is your best bet.I was thinking October/November because it's off peck times for travelers, I know people travel anytime of the year, but summer is idle time for tourism for Vancouver and Toronto if they lift travel restrictions for bc and open airlines to operate in/out of yvr during the summer holidays it will be hard to find a ticket, and at reasonable price, not alone China has not lifted there restrictions for flights yet so they only allow limited number of international flights out and in there country now, from what I am reading online, air Canada is looking to only fly out if possible two locations in China one Hong Kong, and if they get permission from Chinese government Shanghai, also trying to use different airlines and bounce from different countries to land in Canada is extremely low chance for people and super I high cost, but air Canada said Beijing is not on the list to fly into or out of for now. China Southern still has flights from Guangzhou to Vancouver in June. You can download their app and check the price. The flights are on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.what airline is cheaper in July? Air Canada flights in July is around 1380 (one way Beijing->Ottawa, down from 1740 in June), but as you said, they don't know if they can fly in July and hold our money for no reason.what airline is cheaper in July?
