Nobody is "close to PPR" because PPRs aren't being sent out until further notice (applies at least to applicants based outside Canada as non-essential travel is banned anyway), as clearly stated on their website in the coronavirus advisory section.
Yes, many are close it in the sense that the files are completed and it is a matter of sending the PPR. Just gotto wait for the lockdown.

I ordered my GCMS note on April 20th and have just learnt that it requires an extension of 90 days. My eligibility is still “verifying” and this is really frustrated!

I have especially asked about eligibility. They didn't mention about eligibility . But based on my last GCMS notes, I believe it should be completed.
I'm still struggling to understand the difference between background verifications and eligibility review. I just got a webform response that says: "The eligibility review is valid. The security background verification is valid. The criminal background verification is valid." Does this mean ive passed the background verification as well?

I raised two webforms on the 20th of April and on the 5th of May and got the following responses:

Does this means that all is GOOD?
Hey, I got the exact same response as you today. I'm trying to understand what it means. Could you tell me if you found out whether it is positive news?

This looks like ready for PR approval if in case your medical is also valid. Same as mine. And I have a feeling that they will try and honor their 6 month processing time! Roughly 20 more days to go for me...

Thanks for the input. Not that it's particularly relevant to your case, but I am about 12 days over my expected 6-month completion date. Also, what do you think eligibility review means? That's not the usual wording. Do you reckon its just a new way of phrasing it?

Please someone clear my confusion. My eligibility is being reviewed and criminal background check has been initiated. I have heard some people say that the background check is not initiated until the eligibility is met. Does that mean that I have passed the eligibility?

AOR: December 24, 2019.

In March they responded to me “The eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied have been met.” That is such a dis ambiguous statement.

Even though I see your concern with the wording you received in your case, I might understand it as “we reviewed your eligibility and we found it valid”.

Are you inside Canada? I am inside Canada and wish I do not exceed the 6 month time frame.

ATIP aka GCMS notes is much explicit than webform wordings. Anyone who has concerns with webform feedback might get some help with the GCMS notes... In my case they responded on dot 30 days for the ATIP request which I filed myself as I am inside Canada. The notes says as follows:

ASSESSMENTS
Eligibility: Met

Hi everyone,

I ordered GCMS notes and received within one month. My eligibility is met and criminality is in progress. However, I am in a country where I can only apply for police certificate with a request letter from the authority. I checked the official website, it states the immigration office will send me a request letter after AOR. But they haven’t sent me anything. The last request letter from them is the biometrics request letter.

Then how come my criminality is in progress without the police certificate? Should I raise a Webforum to ask?

I wish everyone safe and hopefully we can successful land Canada after the pandemic!

Hi
Can anyone help me with my situation.
I had applied on December 17 and received an AOR. Medical and biometric was done in January. Right now my application is at, ‘we are processing your background check’.
june 17 2020 is the last day of the 6 month process. I haven’t heard anything after the background check. is anyone in the same boat?? Or can anyone help me knowing if IRCC is delaying in making decisions?

I'm FSW outland. Not within Canada atm. From whatever I've seen, it looks like inland candidates are getting their applications processed faster than outland ones.
They really are so ambiguous with their wording its borderline frustrating.
