We didn't write any emails to IRCC thinking it could cause more delays in the process and just sent them what they requested.
I was at the consulate office in HK last year and seen how busy they are.
Tell your husband to write nice letters with " smiley faces " and send them to you ....Much better than IRCC !
Thank you for sharing your experience with me. My husband still insists of his opinion not sending any emails to interrupt the officers. I have given up to persuade him to do that, and I think whether he decides to do anything for me it comes from his heart.

Your husband is a wise man. I can tell you from my experience, it is absolutely not necessary to call/email/webform IRCC about the progress and status. The only positive result is purely your psychological satisfaction, you can say to yourself that you have done "everything" you could to "accelerate" the process. In reality, useless.

Hong Kong government is not going to cancel the 14-days quarantine regulations this year. That means, the interview rearrangement probably will not be able to have this year. I was not asking my husband to inquire about the progress and status. We know our application status. It's hard to explain.

I wonder that I am 31 week pregnant my due date is july28 even if they sent me ppr now , with closed border etc I can’t fly out so I will have to give birth in mongolia . But my medical will finish in October . So when the baby is born and getting his Canadian passport and birth certificate will take much long .... what should we do ? Anyone has any idea ?

Do you know if all interviews at the HK consulate have been put on hold ?

it might be some work to get our love one out of China with all these restrictions

The so-called "five one" refers to: one airline, one country, one route, one flight a week.

The Civil Aviation Administration in the "Notice on Effectively Doing the Plan for International Passenger Flight Plan and Pre-sale of Tickets during the Prevention and Control of Epidemic Situation" requires: "Airlines that have not resumed flights shall not pre-sell international tickets before approval for resumption of flights." It is reported that this request is likely to be extended to October this year.

At present, many foreign airlines have hoped to resume international routes from Europe, America and China. For example, United Airlines, Air Canada, Delta Air Lines, Lufthansa, etc. all plan to resume some international flights to China in June, but they all need to obtain China Civil Aviation. Bureau approval.
