Hi everyone!

Just wanted to firstly say thank you to everyone who helps out on here. I probably couldn't have completed my application on my own and found so much useful information on this forum. Thanks!

I have a question about my application that I only realised after I had sent it away. I'm from the UK and applying for common law visa with my Canadian partner. We have lived together for almost 1.5 years. In form IMM5532 (Relationship information and sponsorship evaluation) Part C Question 11. The question asks "Is there any more information you wish to share to support your relationship". I marked this box as N/A as I believed that I had covered everything in previous parts of the application:

1. The form already stated that we met at work and this is backed up by referral letters from friends.
2. In testimonial letters our friends describe our hobbies as a reason why we are compatible together long-term.
3. We got a notarised declaration of our common law relationship as I'm also applying for OWP.
4. We included 20 photos that show us together and some with family members, and screenshots of us talking with my mother and grandmother on WhatsApp, and pictures of us on vacation to the states on 2 separate occasions, and pictures of us on a break to a different Canadian city (we live in Toronto, pictures in Montreal)
5. We sent several screenshots of our public relationship on Facebook and one from instagram.
6. We have bank documents, shares accounts, shared credit cards and government ID both with our current address on them. We also have shared phone and internet plans.

I assumed the question to mean explain anything about your relationship that might be ambiguous to a CIC agent. I thought the information I had provided would give sufficient proof as to the legitimacy of our relationship so I left it blank. Now I realise some people use it to describe their relationship and future plans.

Would omitting an answer for this question be seen as suspicious? I can't see how we could have included anything in a declaration of our relationship that wasn't already shown or corroborated by our friends.

Hope to hear from someone one of you good people soon, to settle my nerves!

Thanks!

You should be fine honestly, you provided everything you needed. It's just an additional thing you could've done but it's not a must.

No, putting N/A for that is not suspicious. It is really just a place for people to explain any red flags/issues/problems.
