Implied status with new employer in a closed work permit

Hi, really appreciate it if anyone can give me some hint on this situation. I am about to submit the document to EE.

I had my first one year closed work permit with employer A, which ends May 31, 2019. Then I started with employer B on June 1, 2019 with another closed work permit and am still working for them. However, that new work permit with B approved on June 20. The HR of organization B told me that I'm on the implied status and I was good to go from June 1, and I'm still working for them. While I searched this forum and most similar questions are about open work permit and implied status, I would appreciate if anyone can help me with the following questions:

(1) Since the EE system only requires year and month in work history, does this issue matters? Is it necessary to point this out in the LOE?

(2) Whether this 20 day implied status period will be considered as illegal working (due to the possible mistake of HR)? I have the email record with HR.

(3) If (2) is yes, even I submit my documents after June 20 this year and not claiming this 20 day period as work experience, will they reject the application? (I'm in CEC)

Thank you all very much and wish the invitation goes back to normal soon!

You worked illegally. You were not allowed to work for the new employer until the new closed work permit was actually issued. Illegal work cannot be counted as work experience. Don't lie about it.

Thanks! Since both dates are in June, if I submit the document on or after June 20 (one year after the issue date of the second closed work permit), will the actual experienced time still be counted as two years? Is the application still going to be reject even in that situation?

It should be fine as long as you aren't trying to claim that 3 weeks of illegal work experience in your 2 years.

Really appreciate it @canuck_in_uk . To be frankly I have no intention to claim that 20 days or lying to anyone. I'm feeling really uneasy now as being misled by the HR. Would you suggest that I still need to clarify this issue in the letter of experience when submitting the document? Thank.

Up to you but I would. I think IRCC is a lot more lenient when people actually explain things.
