Post-graduate work permit validity for diploma in accounting

Hi guys,

I am interested in enrolling in a diploma in Accounting from the university of British Colombia DAP program. I would like to complete the program with a 3 year PGWP.

I will start in September 2020. The course could be completed in 12 or 24 months. However, summer is not a "scheduled break" according to the program. The course has 14 courses, and full-time means 3 courses per semester atleast.

If I enroll full-time, it will take me 5 semesters to complete the course, considering I'm enrolled full-time in the summer as well. This means I will graduate in May 2022.

My calculation results in a 20 months program. Did I miss anything in the above explanation which I should've taken into account to be considered for a 3 year PGWP?
