How long will CIC take to return my passport?

Here's the timeline for mine.


March 20th - Passport was delivered to Ottawa
May 11th - Sent an email to them explaining I was worried
May 11th - I got a response saying my passport was sent to the printing room on May 5th
May 13th - I got an email on a notification on my application account
May 14th - Return Tracker activated

Which e-mail did you send your e-mail to?
Copy od my passport was recieved on March 11 and no update since.

I sent my pp copy to Otawa on April16 but until today have no words from them. Any one received COPR in March April? does IRCC are still processing Applications? Any Idea

Yes, it takes about 8weeks now

Got my passport Finally !

Request for passport: 9-MAR-2020
Passports sent: 12-MAR-2020
Passports delivered: 13-MAR-2020
Application approval: 5th May (did not receive any email)
Return tracker activation: 13th-May-2020
Passports back in hand: 18th-May-2020

But cannot travel anyway !

How is the process for landing during the Covid-19 measures for someone who had received the passports recently and that is currently in Canada? (We cannot do "pole landing"!!!)

Do you get specific instructions in the mail along with your passport?
