Hi all,

I am 30 years old and have 8+ years of work experience and want to study masters in Canada.

Is it possible for me to get accepted anywhere or my age and work experience will be a problem?
If I pay the entire tuition fees, expenses, GIC etc., can I manage my daily expenses with the 20hrs/week work permit as a student?
I have an active EE profile under FSW, will that have an effect on my study permit application?
What are co op programs?
What is SDS?

Thanks.

Yes you can get accepted age not an admission criteria.
You might manage if you get and stay employed for full 20hrs every week depending on lifestyle, you still need to prove you already have funds to support yourself to get Visa.
It might lead to rejection but its not supposed to.
I think you can easily google these things.

So one should have funds for tuition, GIC and expenses for entire period of stay as a student before applying for study permit?

You need 10,000 CAD for first year of expenses and a realistic explanation of how you will get the rest without working in Canada.
