I realized this when I was about to submit the visa for my spouse. I reviewed the page and it was gone! I am not applying for TRV until they add the family reunification thing back

Dear friends, please I need advice, I have been waiting for 6months just to get an AOR from immigration, I keep sending web form in regards to my application and I consulted my MP, immigration responded and asked me to resubmit an other application, pls can I send the copies of the old application or fill a new form.
Am very worry, so is it going to take effect from the date we submit the new application or it will be processed by the date of the old application.
Please I need a serious advice.

Don't worry! Just chill and relax. Did you get AOR1 ? WITH FILE# ? IF YES, THEN WHY THEY ARE ASKING YOU TO SEND NEW APPLICATION? Do you have proof when you have sent?
No dear I didn't get any AOR1 and that's why I asked my MP to help me find out why it had kept too long for me to get my AOR.
I submitted my application in November 1, and they received it on 4th November 2019 to date. Am very frustrated now and very disappointed, I think I would like to apply for TRV whiles I resubmit the spouse application.They didn't return them to me, rather Ythey have misplaced them.
Ih, so sorry to hear that so ask your MP to write letter and explanation and if you have to send new application then IRCC must take that with your back date that letter from your MO then you are good with copy of your file to send also talk to the lawyer if you havd one. Me too, I bet they just don’t want anyone to assume their application is going to be processed in the time that was showing in the progress bar. Realistically it can only mean one thing there will be delays due to the COVID situation.
