I highly doubt that there would be any change in either EE or PNP programs. Both of these programs bring only the desired candidates.

Adaptability plays a big role in settling in which is why the candidates get extra points who have their immediate family members in Canada. They have nothing to do with age, education, and work experience.

CEC draws are very clear indication that IRCC wants its target to be achieved otherwise they could have temporary halted the program. Just trying to understand why CEC and PNP draws are not temporarily halted while FSW draws are.

All the CEC members have completed at least one year of work experience in Canada and given the conditions, corono crisis, they would be the best fit to get awarded through ITA. Most of The CECs are already in Canada and they would not have to struggle to finding a job.

I hope soon FSW draws would also resume though its difficult to predict the date.

There are people who likes to pour kerosene in fire and enjoy the arguments between FSW and CEC.. So stay patient, avoid negativity, and be united whatever it is CEC, FSW, FST, PNP and continue sharing the informations.

The process should go on which bring us the desired fruit: the ITA.

What does this mean?

IRCC could just be targeting cec and pnp draws becasue they have a job ad have to a job after pr, FSW will happen but is maybe the last think they want to aim for. i think at the moment everyone needs to be employed to help the economy

IRCC have just provided an update on immigration, may be worth a read. IRCC updates. I dont think this is a personal attack it is really to make sure the healthcare systems is not overloaded due to covid-19 and business are up and running to provide work for everyone that is in canada. The job losses due to covid-19 is big and at this moment they are not even prepeared to open the usa boarders to allow anyone to come here. It is heartbreaking, one will think if a fsw draw happens your looking at 1 year before anyone that can travel anyway.
They is no such thing as a fresh mind if you are a newcomer. To secure a job in Canada is not easy, it is very hard.

Please post the link, I tried and couldn't find it. Nobody can guess IRCC's plan and please try not post opinions against the immigration. I understand your point. However, people need a lot of positivity to take IELTS and go through the whole process. Let everybody do their part and IRCC is the decision maker. I hope people won't post negative comments here. My back it is in cic updates, if you also scroll up on this forum someone has posted the link from Twitter. I'm not posting anything against immigration I was discussing a valid point. I'm providing you constructive feedback, when they us over a million people unemployed due to covid , finding a job on canada unless it is in agriculture or health will be difficult until business can recover. Business that have been in operations for 30 years are closing because they can not pick themselves back up due to covid.

One thing I know is that Canada will try their best to get their people employed again. I am losing hope in getting LMIA because I know tons of Canadian out there looking for jobs. At the moment, it's not about fresh minds but great ones and in CEC, they believe they've got some. The country would look after itself before anything else. Let's just hope they resume general draws now that IELTS are starting to conduct test again.

OK - I've decided to give an update on banana prices since this keeps coming up.

I live in downtown Toronto. Right now at my big local grocery store bananas are 29 cents each. If I go to the small grocery store on the corner, they will be cheaper. This is where banana prices are in Toronto right now.
