I am of the opinion that there is a disconnect between the progress bar and actual progress of officers on applications. The bar is based on an algorithm that calculates gradual percentage from the date of application received to estimated completion date based on the submission date e.g. for some maybe 18 months or 20 months at the time of submission. Moreover, officers don’t update the progress bar based on their input. They deemed it unnecessary, perhaps.
Agree. The bar is just a visual representation of the processing time estimate. It just reassures people and prevents people from calling. Progress bar is still operating based on precovid processing times.

today i received GCMS notes (issued 15 april2020) location: PP-Ready for landing
this is the first time i see that , the old value was ready for assessement since 23 july 2019 .The contrast is that todays GCMS notes show that the last update is 23 july 2019 so that it is the first time i see ready 4 landing

In general they are trying to make sure you. didn’t travel to your home country or use your home country passport. Although passports are usually seized some do then get a new copy.
I did not leave Canada since before the refugee application but I know several people now in their home country enjoying life and their pr is processing. They just go to a neighbor country and then move into their homeland with no record. Ofcourse they return to canada same way. System is not perfect.

This is exactly why protected people are questioned when they enter. Protected people who go back and live in their home country soon after getting asylum give people who oppose asylum seekers a reason to doubt all asylum seekers. Hope you consider reporting them.

It is obvious as after 95 days I am still waiting for my RTD ! while it is supposed to be only 20 days.
Pretty sure the office processing RTDs said they had shut down and were not processing RTDs at the moment. Nobody should be travelling so not getting an RTD shouldn’t be a big deal.

I know it. I mentioned that as we were discussing that everything is delayed due to the pandemic including the RTD. But still there are people who need to travel, thats why I don't recommend generalization !

I 100% agree that they should be reported and PP status be stripped and send back home since they are really are not in fear of their life.

Anybody to help me?
Your application will be evaluated and any missing info will be requested if non then PCC Meds ETC ETC ETC there is no specific order as to what will be requested next the processing time is 20/21 or 22 month not sure these days so you have time for all these request.

Good luck

Pilots announce 30 min before landing but this not like that:D:D . check your security, criminality line. that takes long
