Visitor Visa Status Expiring Tomorrow!!

Hello Members,

My Mother-in-Law travelled from India to Canada on visitor status on 8th Nov 2019 and had an exit date stamped as 5th May, 2020. We didn't apply for VISA extension since we thought 3rd May, 2020 onwards commercial flights to India would resume, but they didn't. Can anyone please suggest what should we do now?

Thanks Scylla for your response. When I check the website it says that application for visitor record should be applied at least 30 days in advance. So I got a bit confused.
