Urgent Question - Lay-off due to COVID while waiting for a nomination

I got my Alberta PNP file number on April 22nd after the submission of NOI package. The problem is that I got laid off on the end of March and haven’t informed anything yet to PNP office. Certainly I’m gonna report this situation as a change of employment status but just wondering if reporting late will be a problem in getting a nomination...
