a question from a social worker

hi everyone,
i'm planning to work as a social worker in Canada and my question is about proof of funds. of course i've read the general conditions and instructions regarding proof of funds on the website but if i don't have enough money? it's 24083 CAD for 4 family members. it's extremely high especially for the countries which have a low value currency such as Turkish Lira. It is impossible for me to save such a large amount of money on my own. I don't think all those skilled workers who immigrated to Canada have such a large amount of money. There must be some easy ways I don't mean doing fraudulent things.. do you know any detail about this, can you give me some information? thank you

Your parents can give you the money if they have it.

You actually should try to have more funds if you have a spouse and children especially in large cities. It can take a while to get a job. You also need to find out whether you can get licensed as a Canadian social worker. If you do end up getting the funds you may want to consider arriving first so you can minimize your expenses and once you are employed have your family come to Canada.

1) in fact, if i get PR, i'm planning to arrive at Canada alone, but as you know, it's required to have funds for all of the family members even if they won't accompany you.
2) after getting PR, i'm also planning to find a job before going to Canada (job interviews via skype etc.).
3) as you said, i need to apply for my credentials to CASW to understand whether i am able to work as a SW.
4) and your final sentence, i'm exactly planning to do this: arriving first so i can minimize my expenses and have my family come to Canada.

but i'm not sure as to which step will be put first and which will be the next one. there're so many details to consider as well as the details above, i need to be clear how i will overcome the proof of funds issue

For proof of funds, you must either save this money yourself. Or you must have a family member who is willing to give you money.

There is no shortcut, save up and get the funds or get a gift deed from a family member. And yes, all those who have immigrated have shown the Proof of Funds legitimately and if they didn't, am 101% sure they would have been banned for misrepresentation.

Would assume that you are unlikely to get a job in social work from abroad.
