I am sure a lot of the international students are aware of this already but I have a more specific question.

If you already have an essential or non-essential job and you are limited to 20hours at that job, are you allowed to get another source of income until August 31 if it is in the essential sector?

My exact situation is: I work at a shipping company as a ramp handler and have always had a shift of 20hours a week. Nothing has really changed with the current situation so I can't get extra shifts from there even tho if I can it is obvious that with the temporary rule I am allowed to since that job is classified as essential.

I would like to get extra income via food delivery with any of the platforms available out there. Am I allowed to?

Also, it is not very clear if those platforms are considered essential since Public Safety doesn't specifically classify them separately but I believe they fall under this category:
-Restaurant employees necessary to support take-out and food delivery operations

The above does not include delivering food through a web platform such as ubereats. You would need to be employed by the restaurant itself.

Ok that clears it for the web platforms.
Unfortunately it specifies restaurant employees. So it's pretty clear with the scope is of this specific exception. If you can get hired directly by a restaurant to act as a delivery person for that restaurant, then you would be good.
