Hello All,

I am here in Canada from last five years.Applied for citizenship last April 2019.In January 2020,I cleared citizenship exam and was told that I will get a mail for oath.Online status is showing "Decision made" from last one month bu have not received any email or mail.Expert please reply about when i can expect my oath.Thanks,

Delays are due to Covid19. I think you will have to wait. If you do not hear from them after 60 days, send them a tweet. They generally respond in 7 to 10 days

It seems we will have to sleep for a year or so! So frustrating.

I read a post somewhere in the forum who had a friend/relative working for goverment and they said the IRCC application processing would resume only after 3-4 months. Since the average time to complete the citizenship application was 8-10 months in precovid era. Now, its reasonable to assume that the processing can take anywhere from 1-1.5 years.
