Hi, i have applied for spousal sponsorship and i believe i have misrepresented myself.. I seleceted no for “have you ever been detained, incarcerated or put in jail” i was 14-15 when i was stopped in ja for marijuana and had to pay a fine i have sent a CSE and explained that i wasnt sure if i needed to disclose because they were youth offences and i had totally forget.. what are my chances of it being refused and i being banned
I really don't know the answer to this. You already sent the application and you mention you sent CSE to explain. I have no idea what that is. My advise is please do not hurt yourself with fears of being refused now. We just have to leave it there. I know the feelings of aneixty the waiting process is. Also please do not search or dig too much online. That will make it worst.

I wish I had some knowledge to answer your question. Did you get locked up and at 15? . This is how I see it the Lord knows our hearts. It is very hard when you want to be with the one you love and the decision is based on a few person that really don't know us or haven't seen us together, looks at a few pictures, documents and like you said misrepresent info on your file to determine a decision. Hope for the best.
Your application is still in process, so it can be corrected if need be. Good thing you send a letter explaining yourself. Dont worry you will be fine.
I got request after application for communication proof about 2 months now. I submitted WhatsApp chat conversation only. Do you think that is okay? We had already submitted photos, flight tickets, western union receipt, letters etc. It's been 2 months and I haven't gotten a feedback it was received, uploaded or review. I had others I could have submit but new to the account I had no idea I was only able to upload 1 file if I had combine the file it would have been too large to upload. Now I am worried I didn't submit the strongest evidence. I felt like I've gotten a test and I failed it.
When you sent in your application did you sent in the what's app or later?
Yes later. I talked with my husband. I remembered I talked him to export the messages to email. He said the form kept saying submit x amount of pages both of us is a bit slow computer wise.he said he start printing and had to stop the printer. I figure he only printed only like our first year conversation maybe about 4 or 10 pages ( what was on the form). So i figure that might be the issue that they didn't see 2018 and 2019. It says updated communication. So i gathered 2018 and 2019 convo. I also had latest flight ticket, call screenshot, money receipts But like I said I had a hard time to figure out to combine it keep saying too large. I submit the messages 1st with the intention go right back to the link and submit the others. It was a lot of messages so I figure that was okay. Sorry for the long message

You should be fine dont stress or worry about it. What you can do is ask them through web form if they received the what's app messages because when they had ask for my divorce certificate in November I haven't heard from them about it so I wen form them and they message me back in January 30th stating they received it and my application is back in queue
Thank you very much. I am now having restly nights. I had no idea how stressful this process would have been. Took us forever to complete the process afraid we might not do the application correctly. I wrote a few times waiting on reply. I just hope if they needed anything they will ask and not just dismissed it.
