My co-worker keeps saying "I am not afraid of the coronavirus, I have good immune system, i can fight it". Well... it is not about you and your immune that you are bragging about. It is about those whom you can infect - your mom, dad or a friend with underlying health condition. Even I, being a relatively young and healthy person, am afraid of the virus: there is no anything funny about trying to sleep in a "doggy style" because you simply cannot lie on you back due to coughing and being short of breath (I end up like this each time I miss the opportunity to take control over cold at its early stages, though doctors say I have not any chronic diseases).

My city is shutting down completely! Beginning with 22nd of March nobody is allowed to enter or leave the city - even its citizens who want to come back home! Feels like I am watching a movie. We have 17 confirmed cases in my city.

Hi, I think the immigration department has released guidelines for people with valid CoPR but unable to travel before expiry date due to the virus. You can get more info on their website.

Canadian High Commission in India FB page has been updated with respect to flights ban.

Confirmation of Permanent Resident Document

If you have been issued a Confirmation of Permanent Resident (COPR) document on or before March 18, 2020, but you have not travelled to Canada yet, you are exempt from the travel restriction measures and can travel to Canada once commercial flights become available.

If your counterfoil expires prior to commercial flights becoming available, you do not need to email us as you will receive communication from our office on the next steps to be taken once full-service resumes.

I live here in Vienna & lifting the lockdown has started as follows:

• Meetings of up to 10 people are now allowed.
• Starting May 15, Magistrate, all schools, restaurants, cafes and bars will be open.

But, It's weird that still there is no news about VAC in Vienna ! Even starting by May29, pools will reopen but not the VAC office !!
Does Canada halted the offered services by VAC?
