PGWP For 1 year Master Program

Hi, If i complete one year masters program, what will be the PGWP awarded, is it 1 year or 3 years.

I read below in one site and in official link below is the criteria mentioned, so please clarify,

PERMIT VALIDITY
Students who completed a study program lasting 2 or more years (i.e., a bachelor’s, master’s or PhD program) are eligible for a PGWP valid for 3 years.

Students who completed a study program lasting less than 2 years (i.e., a DESS or certificate program) are eligible for a PGWP valid for a period no longer than the study program.

The exception for a masters to be allocated a 3 year PGWP would need the masters to be 16-23 months, any less then would just be equal to the course length.

what about 12-24 months?

If someone is still watching, I want to know if a PGWP after 12 months MEng program (at UBC) will be 1 year or more (or hopefully 3 years?)

12 months = 12 months PGWP. However, your program may qualify for Tech Pilot PNP. Check on the BC PNP website.

Thanks tapperb, I'm thinking about the PNP as one of the possibilities. I'm just wondering if I can work entire period for processing of PR, or 1.5 years of waiting for non EE BCPNP
