Hi,

I received ITA in first week of March, our second baby was born in March 3rd week. Original application did not have the new born as dependent.

I am trying to add him as dependent, but it required Passport or National identity doc as it is required field. I am in Canada right now and applied for Birth certificate.
Passport can be done only after i receive Birth certificate.

How do I proceed with my application?

Options
1. Submit without adding him as he is already canadian citizen by Birth.
2. Wait for Birth Certificate and passport. I will probably miss the deadline in this case.
3. Submit without adding him, and then once all docs are ready update through webforms.

Any other options if you guys have then let me know.

As the child is Canadian, he is not included. If you don't receive the birth certificate in time, any place where it asks for documentation for him, upload an LOE and any proof you have, i.e. a hospital record of the birth, to show that he is Canadian. If you get the cert in time, then you just upload that in every place.

When I add him as Family Member, I am asked to fill the document number, Issue date and expiry date. What should be entered there?
