Hi,

I got married in 2017 and moved to Canada 2018 under federal skilled worker program. We both came here as PR and Unfortunately got separated a year later and in process of getting a divorce.

I have few questions:
1) If I get married again out of Canada, what would be the quickest/better way to bring spouse in Canada? I've heard I can't apply for spousal visa and there's a wait period of a year or so after divorce.
2) Do I have to stay within Canada if I apply for spousal visa?
3) What if they come on work permit or student visa & then we get married here?

I've been in Canada for 2 years now on PR.

1) There is no waiting period since you immigrated through an economic immigration stream. You can sponsor your new partner immediately but you must be living in Canada while you do so.
2) Yes. Only Canadian citizens are allowed to sponsor a spouse while living outside of Canada.
3) Yes - you can try to do that.
