Good day! Hope you are healthy and well in spite of the global pandemic.
I have a study permit that is still pending application due to the COVID-19 crisis. My intake is scheduled for May 2020. The school has moved the start of my course to the middle of May.
Just in case my study permit doesn't have a decision once classes have started, what will happen to it?
Thank you and may God continue to bless us all!

They will continue to process and if they want to approve it after that then they will ask for a new LOA.

Thank you. What if the next intake of the program is May 2021? Do you have to stick to it? Or can you defer to another program for Sep/Jan, and provide a new SOP along with the new LOA?

May 2021 is very far. You should just find another program and submit the LOA. Explain to them that the program is not available for the next one year and hence you went for another program

Ok, thank you very much for your input!
