Hello everyone, I’ve been contacting few companies in past few days but all of them seems to be really not so trustful so I decided to do it by my own

the first thing I wanna ask for anyone who is Brazilian or whoever knows about it
I’m planning to go for 6 months college with study permition and my brother is going to a 2 years college with co op(1 year study and another one just work)

I already read a lot about it, checked the website but I saw some videos and talked with people about it and I’m curious about somethings

what I’m bothering me rn is the proof of funds

1. Which “things” can I show as proof of funds?

2. Can I show my sponsors' monthlypay stub to prove proof of funds?

3. I read that 10,000-12000CAD Is what need to have in my account but I’m wondering if I can show only the monthly values (1000-1200 per month)

4. Does my brother needs to show 2 years proof of funds or just 1 year then show up the rest when he finished the first year of college?
I have much more questions but imma wait to ask

Any Brazilian who applied, could u tell me about your experience or how did it end??

You need to show you have at least 1 year of tuition fee amount in your bank account plus living expenses for 1 year.

You need to show cash in your savings account, or Canadian government GICs. pay stubs are not cash.

Thank you for your response
My brother already paid 2 year of college (co op)
so he doesn’t need to show more right?

We don’t have money saved on our accounts

that’s why we are quite confused which is the best way to prove

Since we heard so many different things from companies and few Brazilians we are confused now

You need to show you have the money. They won't approve your visa on assumption that you have the money.

That’s really disappointed

I still need to apply for me and my brother still need to apply for our visa since we already paid for everything.... the only issue is proof of funds
The company who we talked which is pretty famous said it’s okay to show up only this amount of money in Brazil. hopefully This is truly and it gonna work

thank you once again

The rules apply to people from Brazil the same as everyone else. Your brother needs to show at least $25,000 for proof of funds for tuition and living costs. If he has paid his tuition, he can show that but still needs to show a minimum of $10,000 for living costs.

You would also need to show a proportionate amount of funds for living costs. A 6 month course isn't going to get you much in Canada.

Taking a 6 month program in Canada is a waste of money. You won't be able to work part time while you are studying and you will not qualify for a work permit once you have finished your studies.

If you want to study in Canada, the program should be at least 8 months long. If your objective is to get PR, then the program should be 2 years long so that you qualify for a 3 year work permit and have the best chance possible of converting this to PR later.

I will see if it’s possible to refund money that I paid for my course.
It’s really so b. What companies advices you

They said that I would be able to work part time in this 6 months since it’s a professionalizing course
Tried to search about it on internet but didn’t find any answers so I assumed it was truth since they are a big company in my country

2 years course is too expensive for me,I probably gonna do a 1 year course or so

That is incorrect. You cannot work while taking a six month course . And the company being big in Brazil is irrelevant for work authorization

That’s so bad
The company that I’m talking supposed to help me with everything
Finding a school
Payment
Etc...

they are“specialists” on doing this.
They said if I get 6 months course I could easily get a job part time

though I could trust them but seems I can’t
