No it was employer specific closed work permit.
They emailed me.

You just got a LMIA Work permit approved? When did you apply? And when did you receive confirmation that it was approved? Are you in Canada right now?

We are on the same boat. I have not even got my fingerprints done. So I guess I’m looking at December or Jan next year lol.

FYI, Just spoke with my lawyer. She said Canadian office in the US are not processing standard work permit AT ALL at this moment.

I applied for my closed work permit (with LMIA) at 12 Feb, biometrics was submitted at 19 Feb. In-land. I suppose to receive visa at May 19 according to timeline. I am waiting.

Same situation here. Applied Jan. 30 with valid biometrics. I am still waiting. 89th day per published processing time has already passed. Will give them a couple more days before I inquire via the webform.
