Hello Everyone!
I was recently making my profile on Cic to apply for my permanent residency under Cec stream and i am having a confusion regarding my Canadian work experience and hope it can be discussed and clarified from you guys.
I have doing a job in NOC code 6211 as a retail supervisor for more than 1.5 years, but there is a catch over here. i have done 1 year of this job with 20hrs/week as i was also driving for uber along with it, and then after from 20th Aug 2019 i started doing 40hrs/week and did it till Jan of 2020.
my confusion is that would i be able to include this 1 year experience of part-time and the other full-time work of 6 months as total of 1 year full-time job experience? and how do i mentioned this in my work experience tab in cic profile.

You need to count the hours based no this, so only you know the answer:

"Your experience must be at least:
  • One yearof full-time work
    • 30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours), or
  • equal amount in part-time hours, such as:
    • 15 hours/week for 24 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
    • 30 hours/week for 12 months at more than 1 job = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
For part-time work, you can work more or less than 15 hours/week as long as it adds up to 1,560 hours.
We don’t count any hours you work above 30 hours/week."

Thanks for the reply.
So should I considered all of my 20hrs per week for 52 weeks in this job and also the other the other 6 months as 30hrs per week.? And can I apply under CEC right now. I have already got my ietls results and degree evaluation done, just waiting for the confirmation for this and then would complete my profile. BTW I have raised a query on Cic's website and been waiting for their official reply.

Are holidays counted as a full day of work? Like, Thanksgiving Monday, do I count it as a day of work?

Also, if I did not take my vacations before I left a company and got the monetary amount in regards to it, do I count those hours?

Exactly, so, for example, you would now have 52*20+26*30=1820hours worth of experience (that count towards CEC).

In terms of work experience, you were ready to apply (or at least have your profile ready) a few months back.

Cheers

Yes, they are.

You cannot count the payout you received in lieu of vacations as additional hours worked, because you didn't actually work them. You could have, however, counted those vacations as worked time had you taken them.
