Hi, I want to apply for emergency response benefit? But I'm self employed and did work as employee with my sin as well . I'm very confused which one to select when I apply. If I select as the employee n not as self employed will it effect anything when I do tax for 2020?

Just confirming that you had to stop working use of covid 19 and you are not doing any work related to your business or consulting. You also meet all the other conditions. You are self-emoloyed. The CERB will be added to your personal taxable income.

No. That refers to a strike or a workplace lockout.

No, you haven’t lost your job . If you did the ROE would state Shortage of work as the reason it was issued, not leave of absence. Two totally different reasons . I’d reach out to your countries Government to see what support is available
