Hi i m on implied status when i left to india on march 20th, as my work place is shutdown due to covid, now i even got my spousal work permit approval aswell... i still got bills to pay in canada.. am i also eligible ???? Please let me know
 
Hi, i am work permit holder stuck in india right now. I took vacation from job in last week of jan. I was supposed to join job in march but had to cancel flight because of shutdown. I meet all the other requirement of Cerb, not sure if i can apply? Please help

You cancelled you own flight so didn’t return to work before the shutdown.
 
Same here I don’t know yet i came om 19 march and i got layoff on 17 march .Can i apply or not

ok .. then explain how is it determined that one is resident of canada.

It would depend on the person’s situation. It says they must reside in Canada. If you have been out of Canada for 5 months CRA may consider your situation differently than someone who left in March.
