Study permit update

Please, help me in my case
I have applied to study permit offline through VFS, from Iraq since February 11, 2020 and my application began processing in February 17 I got email mention that.
I have linked my account online last week BUT there is nothing update online in my account they only mention that

• We are reviewing eligibility
• we are processing your background

by the way I did an upfront medical test and put it with my application.

any idea why my application does not update yet?

The normal processing time is 3 months. With the pandemic, you can expect that to be even further delayed.

It is still in process and there are no updates.

At a certain point if you have not received approval you should be contacting your school to ask for a deferral until September.

I hope so, it's still in processing

I have got the Biometric validity letter three days ago, and
I am worried that my medical exam did not update despite I have done upfront medical exam.

I am waiting and I hope every thing will be fine

Actually, I am applying to September and according to processing time it takes 13 weeks
but, my main concern that after I linked my application with my account the medical exam did not update only background and eligibility in reviewing

There is often a delay before it is updated. Given covid 19 it could take longer.

Yes, that's absolutely correct, I read here that if I received biometric validity letter ( which is I got ) before updating my account is bad sign to my application

Please, is the medical exam should be update after background and eligibility in reviewing ???

How did you do you upfront medical without your UCI#?

Before I applied I contacted with panel physician he asked me about UCI, and I informed him that its my first time to apply he said its OK
he done it and gave me UMI number in the health report with barcode

You weren’t supposed to do an upfront medical. That may be one of the reasons they haven’t received it. If you are asked to do a medical you can mention that you have done it already.

It's fine to do an upfront medical for a study permit app.

Did you send proof of the medical with your app? It can take time to be updated.

I have done exactly the same is in the picture
I hope it doesn't affect on my application.
