Finally Got invitation | But still confused | Urgent Help Needed

Hi Guys,

Finally I've got my invitation on draw #144.

I've started my work on may 28th 2018. But in system we're allowed to enter only month and year. So i've entered May 2018.

But system is calculating 2 year of experience because it's showing me 53 points for Canadian Work experience.

I'm not sure how they are counting 2 year of experience.

When i emailed IRCC regarding this issue then i've got Below email reply.

Accept and complete the filing on or after May 28th. That way your filing will be accurate even if ITA is not. Filing date (AOR) is what matters.

Yes but the thing is, I'm currently temporarly laid off. My last date of work is 13th April 2020.

I'm working in Non essential business as Operations Supervisor. My employer is not gonna pay me from april 13th to May 12th. That's what they've told.

Any suggestions ?

Yes I must need 2 year of experience to accept this invitation. With one year my points will be 445.

Yes with 1 year it's 445 . with 2 year experience 458. But wondering why it showing 458 points on my Express entry profile ?

Will your employer exclude these days from the experience letter? If not, you should go ahead. It makes no difference to IRCC as long as your employer gives you work-ex letter till May 28th .

Yes, I'm not working from April 13th to May 12th. Also my employer didn't promised that business will start again in may 12th. So it's unpredictable.

Do goverment is giving any kind of relief in hours because of this pandemic?

They haven’t indicated that they will but nobody can predict.
