GCMS notes says Review Required Pending outstanding PC (RCMP)

Hi,

I'm CEC inland with AOR 2019-09-19 and MEP 2019-10-10.

On 2019-10-10 I was requested to submit RCMP fingerprint based criminal record check. On 2019-10-29 I uploaded the RCMP record check. Until now, it still says "The additional document you provided has been uploaded" on my web portal.

Recently I received GCMS notes generated on 2019-10-30, which shows that the RCMP record has been uploaded.

Under program assistant review, it says:

REVIEW TYPE: Program Assistant APPLICATION #: Exxxx REGULATION: CEC I have reviewed this application based upon the documents submitted by the applicant and the information contained in the file and note the following. MIN.SCORE: 462 CRS SCORE: 465 Principal Applicant Application Promoted: Existing UCI Primary Applicant Medical Attached to UCI: Yes Client Fees: Verified ----- LANGUAGES-----Principal Applicant 1 English - IELTS and Met Threshold & Verified -----EDUCATION -----Primary Applicant 1 - Canadian educational credential on file; credential reviewed; Canadian Institution Verified Level of education: Bachelor's Degree -----POLICE CERTIFICATE-----Primary Applicant 1 - Canada police certificate: Request Letter Sent for fingerprints R10 OK Recommendation: Review Required - Pending outstanding PC -----AGE ----- Applicant's age reviewed and no change from ITA to e-APR ------DOCUMENTS SET FOR REVIEW-----Client Information.

In another part of the GCMS notes, indeed it shows my client information status is "review required" while other documents such as education credential, passport, transcript ... have status "checked".

I also noticed that they've done some info sharing with USA such as FBI and the status is NRT (No result traceable). I'm seeing nothing that implies security screening.

Am I in trouble for this review-required thing with RCMP fingerprint check, which has been uploaded, and it's also clean(I don't have any criminal record)? Is it normal for people who get requested for RCMP record check to be put under "review required"?

Don’t worry I have the exact same issue and CIC request my hk police certificate in July 1st , the program assistant also mark my case as review require on pending PC. However, case analyst overwrite this and mark my case recommended pass. I don’t think your case has issue, they just need a senior officer to pick up and review your PC

the document stats is showing ‘uploaded’ too and nothing update so far..

Hi ,Did you get any further update. My AoR was Sept 20, I have just requested GCMS after the 6 months proceeding time and I got the same note and status you mentioned. I've no idea why it take so long!. I expected PPR early this year but nothing happened and now we have the COVID situation !

No, nothing. I just pretend I never applied and keep moving on.

I thought my case is just me. We are on the same boot . Your AoR just day before me. Actually I called them many times on phone and by online form. And the same answer regarding they still reviewing the RCMP !!. I have no clue why should a paper issued inside Canada needs all these months to be reviewed . I provided it the same day they requested in October 11.this is redeculis and not fair. Have you tried to call them or to request another GCMS .note ?

I just 2 more notes. All the same. I gave up contacting them.

I have a similar situation - 'Review Required - Pending outstanding PC'.

What is your current status? How long does it take for you to complete this review?

My recent GCMS notes says Background check is "in-progress" and in the comments column, I found some references on RCMP as below:

RCMP Fingerprints Police Certificate: Request Letter Sent R10 OK

Recommendation: Review Required - Pending Outstanding PC and Pending Biometric - RCMP Results

I have submitted my RCMP report 3 months back and I see status in my account as "ADR received and review in-progress".

Can you please throw some limelight on these red comments and give me some leads? any action items from our end can be done pro-actively
