Returning to Canada after a soft landing

Hi All,

I landed in Canada at the very start of March and then returned back to where I was living with the intention of returning soon to Canada. However, the airports where I live are all closed and it is hard to get a flight back to Canada. Does anyone now how long the gap can between getting landing and returning back to Canada? I am worried that my PR status will expire at some point.

You need to live in Canada for 2 years out of every 5 years to keep your PR status. You are worrying needlessly.

Would actually suggest not arriving when the airports open unless you have a job in Canada waiting for you. Would be much better to wait a bit longer for a better economy.
