Hello, I have a quick question. My partner and I have reached common-law in Canada, however in the US my marital status is still single because I believe common-law needs to be for 10 years or more compared to Canada's 2 year cohabitation. On the IMM0008: Generic Application Form for Canada, it ask what is my marital status, do I put single because that is my marital status in my country? Even though my partner's status is common-law in Canada?

For common-law, IRCC requires one year of cohabitation, not two.

You are applying to immigrate to Canada based on being common-law, so the answer should be fairly obvious.
