With this new draw, i am very sure that there won’t give ITA to FSW In the mean time .

Looks like they are following CEC and PNP as most of them will be inland applicants and if CEC takes place Monday following same pattern as last time the cutt off score for sure will be 471 and above incase if atleast 3300 applicants in 471 and above have that score to match the total to 3900 ITA's

Looking at the score distribution table, if next cec only draw is conducted on 15th, score can be 466-468. If it is all inclusive then it will be much higher.

Well I am on 468 , we were all kind of thinking that influx of new profiles will be very low and the score will come down

Sorry to hear about that. As I indicated earlier, delays due to COVID-19 won't have an impact until May or June draws. With a backlog of 471-600 applicants right now, chances for 468 are low. If there's a CEC draw, you could get lucky assuming you belong to CEC.

Either way, that pushes us to like... the end of April hoping for an FSW draw. And maybe that one will be PNP as well, and they just bounce between PNP and CEC until corona is gone. Who knows. These are trying times.

You never know. The next draw could be for just FSW candidates. They could alternate between FSW and CEC until the end of the pandemic. I hope for the best.

If it is CEC only it will definitely be lower than 471, I would say 466-468.

They've just hiked the fee for permanent residence programs, effective April 30 9am ET. May be we see a general draw that afternoon? Wishful thinking??

You never know. The next draw could be for just FSW candidates. They could alternate between FSW and CEC until the end of the pandemic. I hope for the best.

I think it's best to stop focusing on a potential draw. Let's focus on our lives and at the right time everything will get back to normal.

Well @Igethope , the only hope I have is the fake one I put on display in front of my wife and daughter. I know there's nothing in here that can get me over the line for an ITA. My display is for them, so they have a smile on their faces. I die inside everyday, thinking I can't do it, and won't be able to do it, no matter how hard I try.

Always keep the reality in check. Keeps us alive. Otherwise, heartbreaks are difficult to bear.

No, It won't shut down immigration but definitely not their priority now. They will still conduct the draw but it won't be "sweet day" like before, expect the point will only go higher or only some specific program for next 3 months

Government will only focus "now" rather than how immigrants will bring money/benefit to society in next 5 years...we won't care and Citizen/PR only want government focus on them like how to keep alive, pay rent/mortgage etc

New immigrant only boost the economy/government when they have job here (to pay tax)....i can tell more than half of EE applicant barely meet the IRCC required fund. I understand new immigrant will bring more econ benefit but definitely not now or nearly future

It makes sense that their priorities are different due to COVID-19, but at the same time, the government will do everything within their power to bring in more immigrants. There is simply no other way for Canada to maintain its current social welfare system. Without the sufficient population to pay taxes, Canadian citizens and PRs are going to be ones that will be affected, Ironically, people seem to think the other way around. Yes, it costs the tax payers bring in more immigrants but it is done to sustain the economy. The birth rate is extremely low and guess what? Canada is going to go into a steep deficit due to CERB and enhanced EI rolled out by the government.

It would be short-sighted for the government to reduce the long-term immigration targets. They might make some adjustments for the time being (just like they are doing now) but I doubt it will be long term.
