we all have concerns and reservations on our struggles for getting an ITA but one must not forget, the situation and pattern of this pandemic is evolving and so does the measures taken by each government in terms of health care and response to this situation and outbreak. Canada has yet to see the curve flattening (apart from slight positive news from BC).Our worries should be channeled to IRCC. Aside our individual struggles to get an ITA , we are also in this pandemic together.
Yesterday the government announced that people with Study permit who are yet to arrive Canada can resume lectures online and that this 50% online classes outside Canada will be counted when considering PGWP . I think we too also need to be informed atleast So we can plan too while they plan. We are on a standstill now and profile time is running.we all have concerns and reservations on our struggles for getting an ITA but one must not forget, the situation and pattern of this pandemic is evolving and so does the measures taken by each government in terms of health care and response to this situation and outbreak. As i said, the situation and it's magnitude is evolving and so does the gradual measures taken by GC, one of which is related to study permit and online classes.Yesterday the government announced that people with Study permit who are yet to arrive Canada can resume lectures online and that this 50% online classes outside Canada will be counted to when considering PGWP . & by the way who knows there was a draw yesterday but yet to be published later today (speculation)
also we all know that documents submission is extended to 90 days (correct me if wrong), what if so called profile expiry date is approaching and we are unable get some docs in our countries (assuming the pandemic is over in CA but not in our country) ????
i am forced to laugh to this . Anyways we would wait and see

in my opinion, GC has done aspiring candidates a good in some sense.
BUT WAIT, WE DON'T LIKE TO LISTEN TO THE WORD TEMPORARY PAUSED OR SLOWED DOWN when it comes to Canadian immigration.
COME a THIRD WORLD WAR, countries vanish from the face of earth, NO WE WANT TO IMMIGRATE. WHY DRAWS NOT HAPPENING
that's not a practical approach rather an ostrich inspired one now you have more to laugh at
We all know that the biggest hurdle in the express entry process is with getting an ITA. Documents are something we have all known how to get and some people even have theirs available before the pandemic struck .At this stage, can you tell me how to get an ITA?
They are giving an additional 3 months to submit a complete application after a candidate submits an incomplete application due to lack of documents because of COVID-19 so they are essentially giving 6 months time to submit a complete application. Why don't you do some reading before making such posts?also we all know that documents submission is extended to 90 days (correct me if wrong), what if so called profile expiry date is approaching and we are unable get some docs in our countries (assuming the pandemic is over in CA but not in our country) ????

Thank you for your question but my friend, I am not credible to answer that but IRCC can indeed. Regarding documents, what about Bio-metrics ? not all of us have submitted those right. So this requires you go physically go to VFS / approved center and give bio metrics which in a lock-down situation is near to impossible in some countries. We all know that the biggest hurdle in the express entry process is with getting an ITA. You are making this something that it's not. Worrying about our future in Canada does not mean we do not have other worries. Our emotional range is broader than that.also we all know that documents submission is extended to 90 days (correct me if wrong), what if so called profile expiry date is approaching and we are unable get some docs in our countries (assuming the pandemic is over in CA but not in our country) ????

so you mean current pandemic is not linked with immigration at all ?You are making this something that it's not. Worrying about our future in Canada does not mean we do not have other worries. Our emotional range is broader than that.
This forum is to do discuss immigration related matters and no one wants to come here and talk about other challenges, global or personal.
And if you really think that this pandemic is equivalent to a world war and will wipe off countries of the face of the earth, then you are supremely uninformed and living in your own pessimistic world. I feel sorry for you but please do not share your morbid thoughts to dampen spirits here.

My "suggestion" would be to just slightly slow down the draw frequency expectations we all have towards IRCC. It has been published on one of the provinces websites that draws will now be occurred on bi-monthly basis. Give or take, the process is slowed down in all provinces including Ottawa for federal activities as well.
Have faith in God, be prepared and once things appear to revert back to normal, you will definitely receive the ITA. Otherwise this anxiety might lead to severe distress.
There's no chance there was a draw yesterday. If there had been a draw, we would have heard about it here from the people who received ITA.As i said, the situation and it's magnitude is evolving and so does the gradual measures taken by GC, one of which is related to study permit and online classes.

Saskatchewan posted on 26th March in website disclaimer that draws will now be bi-monthly. Trust me, I am following the situation and events not less than anyone here but please do not ignore current situation as the immigration formula now depends on it's resolution.Amen!
Now this is what I expected from you.
we just have to stay strong.
PEI actually mentioned that their focus is on the essential things as stipulated by the Fed;thus they have temporarily suspended draws of April.
