I have the same exact situation since March13. I ddn't receive a PPR but when I checked in most forums it probably means that the application is approved and you need to wait for the request. Hopefully they will resume issuing PPRs soon.
Does it mean they are not issuing PPR now?

Hi all,

1) Does anyone know if applications are being actively processed during this COVID-19 shutdown? - Yes, IRCC is processing applications.

2) My status for Additional documents went from "We do not need additional documents at this time. We will let you know if this changes" to "We do not need additional documents" . Does this mean eligibility is passed? When this happened?

3) Does the progress bar show actual application progress or just the time elapsed since AOR.- No, progress bar does not reflect real progress.
Hi, i have few queries. My application is with cpc-m under family sponsorship.
It's been 2 months since i submitted my medicals. Do you know how long will it take for the status to change to decision made? Are PPR being issued right now?

It's very unlikely they'll be issuing PPR as normal. They'll likely approve applications but withhold PPR until the current situation subsides to a level they feel it's OK to resume issuing PPR. Now what that level will be is what no one can tell, at least for now.

Ok, thank you so much for the information. I hope this situation subsides soon. All the best.

I was thinking the same thing that PPR's will be held until travel restrictions clear. Even if an applicant is inland is approved- we cant flagpole and cant fly to the US and return. Sigh.

Hello, can someone elaborate between;
1. Background Verification
2. Security Background Verification?
What are the things they check during the above process?

Thiis is such a great resource. I just joined today and I require some clarity pls.
'we do not need additional documents' under review of additional document.
'Your application is in Progress...' under background check.
what does these status mean pls? What stage does it signify that I am in.
AOR-Jan 30th, same day I submitted
Biometrics Request -Feb 12 2020
Biometrics completed- Feb 18 2020

Hey guys, how long in average is taking to IRCC check your application for completeness? (R10)
It is usually done within the first 1-3 weeks and around the same time as when your medicals are passed.
