Mr. Vishal,
Job letter is one of the leading causes of rejection.
Bur RELAX, I have a good news for you.. You are not getting rejected anytime soon.

First what you need to do is to check your job letters, and why they don't match to 2173.. mind sharing here?

Also, do remember this, if one or two lines of your overall job duties match to 2173 then its ok. Its not 70-80% match. One of my friend who got PR last year had just one line that matched to 2172.. he was actually a web developer... but cic doesn't know which duty is your main one.. you can have 10 duties, but one of them could be the main one, right..

so just share your duties here and let us help you..

If you don't wanna share then do this, ask a colleague to send you a new letter with duties matching to 2173 completely..
also attach their current business card copy/employee card copy also.
then raise a webform and request for replacing existing documents.

When u raised GCMS.... I ordered mine 2 months before but doesn’t get any reply till now

Don't try to overcompensate... try another colleague and say in letter of explanation that this was a person I worked more closely.
if using the same colleague for a new letter I am not sure how you would explain the difference.. if you can draft an amazing story in a few words then great.. else they would think you are a crook. I would not do...

Notary.......it will give you a good feeling.... thats all....

for God sake don't copy duties from 2173.. don't try to replace a few words with synonyms.. don't assume cic guys to be dumb, but they are not detectives.. make it simpler for them..

I fu...d up my application by adding soooo many details,.. and now I am in review required..
therefore...keep things as simple as you can... don't create a doubt in their mind..

Now before you take a hasty decision I think it would be in your benefit to show some details from gcms, loop in a brilliant guy called legalfalcon... he is a good man... he will help..

Did a quick glimpse. I’ll look at box specific roles but Noticed no salary, one didn’t have hours/week either. That stuff to can be reason they don’t accept. See below:

• The personalized document checklist in applicants’ online account prompts the applicant with an upload field for each work experience declared.
• At the completeness check, the processing office determines only whether the required documents are included. The validity or fraudulence of the information is assessed only if and when the application is placed into processing.

The following documents are mandatory for each work experience declared:

• a reference or experience letter from the employer, which
  • should be an official document printed on company letterhead (must include the applicant’s name, the company’s contact information [address, telephone number and email address], and the name, title and signature of the immediate supervisor or personnel officer at the company),
  • should indicate all positions held while employed at the company and must include the following details: job title, duties and responsibilities, job status (if current job), dates worked for the company, number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits; and
• if the applicant is self-employed, articles of incorporation or other evidence of business ownership, evidence of self-employment income and documentation from third-party individuals indicating the service provided along with payment details (self-declared main duties or affidavits are not acceptable proof of self-employed work experience).

If the work experience is in Canada, proof may include copies of T4 tax information slips and notices of assessment issued by the Canada Revenue Agency (the time period for these documents should reflect the work experience timeframe [e.g., work experience from 2006 to 2008 requires only documents from those calendar years]).

Thanks for taking a look and sorry I should have mentioned this earlier - these letters were submitted along with paystubs, offer letter, experience letter on company letterhead head that just described the start and end dates and the salary.

Just think from CIC analyst's perspective. you had two postings in the same company. 2 different roles.. with no dates to specify which role started when.
Then the 2 job duties look so different... I am talking about the 6 year exp.

As per my experience the lower level CIC analysts focus a lot on the job duties letters... your other proofs are marked under review required and are passed to a senior.. This then takes 3-4 months additional... if you want to make it quick, ask another colleague to give you a job letter with exactly what cic needs..
Your case is probably now in the hands of a senior immigration officer..

If you do that, make it readable for a layman. And make sure it has all the PT’s outlined in their completeness check I posted above. Good luck!

You want to look at pages 1 and 2 and the last 5 pages of the GCMS notes. Pay special attention to the closest dates on those pages

Hey buddy. Mine is same timeline, same visa office and same CEC inland. I ordered GCMS notes and it says eligibility not started, background check not started and security in process. Not sure what’s your status is. Am assuming it will be delayed by at least 3 more months now.

I applied Feb. 18th and got it on March 27th. Cuz you’re CEC inland so it should not be too long. Keeping COVID situation in mind, maybe 2 months for you.

They’ll not give you any answer right away. Just wait for 20-25 more days and you’ll see a ATIP kind of weird email in your inbox with a PDF file

Hi everyone! FSW, AOR- 17th Sep 2019, Just received my GCMS notes.

When my file was at CIO, Eligibility is - Not Met, however when the file was transferred to CPC Ottawa, Case analyst put eligibility as recommended pass. My file is now awaiting officer review. I assume eligibility " not met" is due to the fact that I've changed my NOC code after ITA.

Can you help me understand what does this status mean and if I need to provide clarification to IRCC or take any action right now?
