No it's not worth. These two colleges are of low quality and they rely mostly on international student fees to operate, usually they will pay immigration agents to recommend and promote their courses to international students to get more enrollment.

Worth is subjective. What is worth it for you may not be worth it to others. If you want a cheap 1 year program to get PGWP, it is a good option but don't be surprised when finding a job is touhh

As @tapperb mentioned, look for programs with Co-op's. I was in your situation as well last fall. I applied to both Sheridan and Humber, and Sheridan's offer came in June or July, thereabouts. I am currently studying marketing management at Humber, however I tutor a lot Human Resource Graduate Certificate students, and their course load is no joke.

I would say that you will find more international students in graduate certificate courses, compared to bachelor's or degree courses where it would be the other way around. I have also seen co-op placements in some highly respected companies, I would say, though the co-op will be your most important aspect, compared to what you learn in college. Humber's business school has a good reputation, at least in the marketing sector. It got us a field trip to one of the biggest ad agencies, head office, and an internship opportunity for others.

It depends on what you are trying to accomplish, if you want theoretical knowledge and prestige, then a university would be a better option. If you are just looking for a career change, or something to give you a leg up in Canada, then it's worth a shot.

I have actually applied to both sheridan and humber for human resource management...both colleges offer co op option...i cannot chose university because my cgpa is low to get admission
I m in a dilemma because i have recieved offer letter from humber with the deadline of 1st may for september intake
However sheridan application is still under consideration
As far as i heard sheridan is quite good and students reviews are good too..
For humber project management is a popular program but i m not sure about human resource management..that i why i posted here for help and guidance
Can you please guide me how is the atmosphere at humber and is the faculty of human resource program good and is it better for me to accept offer letter or wait for sheridan?

I can't give you details as I did not go to Humber. I know someone who is doing a HRM cert. with coop at George Brown and he was interviewing with a lot of companies for his coop. As Humber is similar to George Brown, I imagine you will the same opportunities.

This is because universities do not usually have a HR focus in their business programs and you could say there is a lower supply of HR graduates. This is why HR Co-Op programs are more successful than others in colleges.
