Hi everyone,
I hold a BA degree from a Canadian university. I am now pursuing my JD degree from a Canadian law school.
During my BA degree, all of my Winter Session terms (September to April) were full-time, with the exception of two consecutive summer terms when I took one 3 credit course per term. I believe this is considered part-time, though I am not sure. The institution I got my BA from designated May to August as designated breaks.
During my JD degree (so far), I took one summer class worth 4 credits during a single Summer Session term. All of my Winter Session terms so far have been full-time, and I plan to take a full-time course load during the only remaining Winter Session as well. My institution designates May to August as designated degrees.
I was planning to apply for a PGWP after graduating. I already have a job lined up after graduation, and I was operating under the assumption that I could work with a PGWP, but I only recently learned about the full-time study eligibility requirement for PGWP. Given my three 3- or 4-credit Summer Session term courses during designated breaks, am I disqualified from applying for PGWP?
Many thanks.
