STILL DATE NO UPDATE
Contacted local MP: No productive response
Our work permit are going to expire in June 2020.
Applied for BOWP: 28th March, 2020
My wife is Pregnant and OHIP getting expired also.
my baby is due on 16th July 2020.
Any suggestion are appreciated on renewing OHIP.

Crazy part: I ETA was 14th Nov, 2019. So, on 23rd december, I called CIC and agent told me that file was transferred in June 2019 and it takes them 6-8 months until officer is assigned which IRCC should have assigned. So she send request or email to Etobicoke office regarding this if any office is assigned yet or why its taking them long to assign any officer. She asked me to wait until 25-30 days for response from Etobicoke office.
So when I called CIC on 22nd Jan 2020, they told me that they haven't received any thing from Etobicoke office yet.
Next day when I called ie 23rd Jan 2020, they told me that they have received response from Etobicoke on 31st December 2019 and message said that it would take 6-8 months until officer is assigned.
i think these people don't know what they are saying.
