The person I am sponsoring was declared as my spouse or partner and was already examined as a non-accompanying dependent when i applied for a permanent resident visa, and did not receive an immigrant visa. (Note: If you have never applied for a permanent resident visa, answer no.)"

I am currently working on a sponsorship application to sponsor my spouse for PR. I got PR through express entry but was married then but did not include my spouse. I am not sure if I mentioned her as a accompanying or non accompanying dependent. In 2018 I applied to sponsor my spouse but was rejected as i applied under the wrong class.

What should be the answer for the question mentioned above?

You were legally required to include your spouse in your PR app. If you didn't include her, whether as accompanying or not, she is forever excluded from the Family Class and can't be sponsored.

It's not just the medical. Did she fill out forms, submit PCCs, documents etc.? You really should know if she was properly included in your app.

Thank you. Hi i checked, my old applications and found that she did PCC and filled out few forms. Can i sponsor her now? It means that she was examined at that time right?
