Hi @legalfalcon
With all what is happening in the world right now, checking my profile or the forum was one of the last thing I was thinking of, yesterday I have connected to my account and saw GU, nothing changed, this morning another GU but this time my medical changed from passed to you do not need medical....
My question knowing that my Medical expired on 20th March 2020, is this a kind of an automated message, so I just forget about it or it can be the action from an officer that will triger remed then maybe the golden email ?
Just a little more info:

My AOR is 20th August, after receiving ADR on 30th January for PCC for my wife, nothing until 25th March (VO Paris)

Most GU are background movement in your file which can be as mundane as your file being transferred from one office to another. So no need to be concerned about it.

As regards Medicals, if they have expired, IRCC will ask you for a remed or extend your meds when your application has cleared all stages, i..e eligibility and security.

Thank you for the quick reply.

Another note also indicated that one of my fingers during the biometric process was of very poor quality and the photograph taken was a bit blurry.

Is there anything I can do about this or just let it be and see if the case officer may contact me later?
IF the officer needs a new fingerprint they will let you know, but or now, you need not do anything.

@legalfalcon

Does it make sense to order GCMS notes in the current situation, AoR - 31st January, wanted to just see status of eligibility.
IRCC is releasing the GCMS notes, but in limited numbers. There will be delays. As regards in your case, since your AoR is January 31, you should wait at least after the expiry of 3 months. that is when the eligibility starts.

The analyst could only verify 425 CRS, where as you require 464.

Any periods of self-employment or unauthorized work will not be included in calculating the period of work experience [R87.1(3)(b)]

Applicants must have at least 12 months of full-time, Canadian skilled work experience (or the equivalent in part-time work experience) in one or more NOC 0, A or B occupations within the 36 months before the date of application receipt [R87.1(2)(a)].

In addition, during that period of employment, the applicant must have:

  • performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation(s) as set out in the occupational description of the NOC [R87.1(2)(b)]; and
  • performed a substantial number of the main duties, including all the essential duties, of the occupation(s) as set out in the occupational description of the NOC [R87.1(2)(c)].
Any period of employment when the applicant was engaged in full-time study will not be included in calculating the period of qualifying work experience (e.g., work experience gained through co-op work permits, off-campus work permits while a full-time student and on-campus work permits). [R87.1(3)(a)]. Officers should verify the work permit information in GCMS.

You will have to check for the specific document mentioned in the GCMS notes. Since I am not privy to your documents, I cannot pin point that exact issue.

I doubt flag polling will be allowed as it would not come under essential travel and you will be stopped. You can surely send a CSE and schedule a landing interview, which too have been deferred until further notice.

@legalfalcon

File transfered to a Local Visa Office after I responded a PFL, is it positive?
The file transfer has no significance. Most filed are transfers due to work load distributions, and others are transferred to LVO as usually it is LVO which sends a PPR and does the final processing.

Also, in some cases for applications where local knowledge may be required, the file may be transferred to the LVO for further investigation.

To know the exact reason and if your eligibility has passed, send a CSE and ask or request your GCMS notes.
