Do you guys know people who got their PR in less than 6 months ? My CRS is 494 and I'm wondering if they process applications with higher score faster or not. I just want to be over with this PR application as soon as possible. Been in this country for 13 years and I'm really but really tired of been a non permanent resident.
Processing time of PR have nothing to do with how high someone's CRS is. It depends on how simple your application is (ex: work experience from one employer or if no foreign PCC is required). Also, if you include all neccessary documents and organize everything properly that helps. Applications are usually delayed when immigration officers have to request additional documents.

I know some people who got their PR in two months but also for some people it took 6-7 months so it varies.

Nice to hear that it doesn't always take 6 months. I was wondering about that too.

I got in 5 months and 10 days. My score was 471 while the draw was 440 at that time. But I dont think there is a co-relation.

Hello All,

I am a new member to this forum. My CRS score is 450, so I haven't paid attention to the Express Entry updates in a while. Today, when I opened my Express Entry profile, I saw this for the first time: (below)

Latest update:
Minimum entry criteria - June 2, 2019. You meet the minimum criteria

I googled about this, but couldn't find any information.

Is this change recently made?
If it is so, then there is a big possibility for the cut-off score to come down drastically in the upcoming draws.

Hi! Welcome to the forum. :)

That means that you are eligible to receive an ITA under the current application criteria (here's the list of criteria for the FSW stream), but you would only get one if the score cutoff comes down to your score. Here is a list of previous cutoffs.

It's dated June 2, 2019. You've been eligible since last year, based on the criteria of whatever stream you've qualified in.

This leads me to believe profile was created on or before that date. Confirm the date you created the EE profile. EE profiles are only valid for 12 months, so if you don't get an ITA before that date you have to create a new profile, which in a tie-break situation is not ideal..

For those who received ITA recently, how are you booking your medical's, the panel physicians office is asking for an IME number and even booking online the same thing, can't find this IME number anywhere.
The medical process is on a request from CIC and they will provide you IME number. So, no upfront medical. Please google it for more information.

LOL on their website, I just put Upfront medicals under IME number and got scheduled for an appointment, surprised it worked, hopefully they don't shun me out when I go in next week.
There's only one medical place in my city that does the tests for EE. I called them, and asked them again when I went in, and they said they get lots of people going for upfront ones, and it's fine. You just need to specify. I'm glad I got mine done in advance, because there's no guarantee I would've gotten an appointment during the 90 days after receiving an ITA. Especially now that waiting lists are longer, due to closures, as a result of corona.

Let us know how it goes.

Oh good for you, I'm glad their offices are still open during these tough times, I'm hopeful they will do mine, the ITA letter should suffice I think. Next big thing for me is the PCC from Indian consulate in Toronto need to chat up someone who went through this, fingers crossed. Good luck post ITA.
Oh, they're closed now, and my country's going into lock-down tomorrow night. I got my medicals at the end of last year. Yes, I didn't take anything like that with me, and they were still fine doing the tests. They just wanted my passport, I think.

Hoping the next draw is soon, as I have enough points to be drawn immediately.

Thank you! I will. Good luck to you too. Hope you get to upload your docs really soon. :)
