have you got reply for the email you sent to NDVO, ????
and yeah immigration lawyer told us to hang tight for 2-3 weeks more, as chances of visitor visa approval are higher when you just got application number, he told us its 50-50 chance of getting approved if we anyway wanted to take try, but now government banned visitor visa
No reply yet! I am hoping for this something soon! the visa offices are open and doing work. I am hoping with no visitor visas being issued and tourist and student stuff that now maybe our files get put through quicker.. i am praying!

@rjdhorajia13 i believe so, and she is your family member so thats two reasons.

@ people who have received COPR, does anyone know about the possibility of an extension on arrival date? (validity of the CoPR) For example, our COPR letter says it will expire August 19th, but we do not feel safe to go to Canada and probably won’t still in August. I hope we can extend this until we feel safe.
There are no restrictions on our country like China/S Korea/Europe but it would just be our choice, so I think they will reject this idea :(

Anyone got anything? I havent gotten anything.. June 19th applicant.. waiting for DM and PPR. i have been told NDVO is open just closed to public.. So they are still doing work on files.. I cannot express my level of anxiety over this whole thing.. My completion date is June 19 2020 and i am really hoping this whole Coronavirus settles down so we can all have our spouses with us on time. I am already panicked as it is.

i had also put inquiry towards NDVO, they said THEY ARE JUST DOING LIMITED OPERATIONS, also that no applicants who got their landing documents after 16 march can land in canada, as they are still foreign national, untill they land in canada to become PR.

this is misinformation, read the official website

The information is 100% true. Yesterday a family friend of mine had been approved from jan 16th with COPR and visa and was denied to board west jet. The only boarded canadian passports and PR card holders. And just to top it of awell, the official website states any issuance of COPR after march 16th would be bar from entering. Please get more info before telling people its misinformation. I'd advise anyone with COPR call your airlines as well before travelling to know if they are accepting COPR documents.

hi guys, final update
So I got to immigration and was asked why am I landing by this time, technically he’s referring to the ban, then I presented him with the documents that proof I’m exempt from the ban, that’s all, he then asked the regular question of where I want my Pr card to be mailed, wasn’t a big deal after all, just have your correct documents ready, it’s the law and both the airline and immigration will abide by it. Landing was a success, thanks to all for the positive messages.

I wont argue with you because Ive already landed and am a Current PR holder but just telling all those COPR holders contact your airlines first and get facts before buying tickets. Its not abt landing agent its abt getting on the flight to Canada. Have a blessed day. Smh joker

This has all changed fast and I've warned several times that airlines may be the issue, not Canada border. It can take time for airlines to get complete information and as they face financial penalties if they get it wrong, they can deny of they are not sure.

Why would you send a original document? Embassy don’t ask for original documents. You just have to notary the document. And I don’t believe they returned the documents which they ask for.
Hope you have a copy of the birth certificate.

i was told i couldn't get any documents back.. even our original marriage certificate was submitted and we have a copy but they took the original with letting us know we wont be getting it back. I doubt they will send it back. You can always check though.
