Invitation to apply deadline extension

Hi,

I just logged in to my cic profile and found that "days left to submit" went up(by about 30 days, from 60 to 90 days in total). I assume it is COVID-19 related measures to help those who is not able to collect all the needed documents? I haven't received any notifications about deadline being updated, not too much of information about this on the news either. So I just wanted to confirm that it is not some system error but the deadline actually went up for everyone.

Hi. The information is on the IRCC page. Please refer to If you’re about to apply for permanent residence through Express Entry section which clearly states that you are given 90 days for application submission instead of 60. And you can get even more time if needed,
