Good to see that you got COPR. Congratulations.Seriously, I don't understand why people are travelling when they were pretty clear about the travel ban. If you are not a citizen/Pr or an immediate family member of one then why take the risk?
Next week they will officially announce about the exemptions so why not just wait till then
Likely a trend to be followed by other airlines given every day countries are making it almost impossible for an airline to operate. That is why keep repeating that anyone planning a soft landing needs a plan B should their return be cancelled and are stranded in Canada. Everyone else should still accept business and some transport will be shutdown add to that the 14 day self isolation on arrival so now is not the best time to travel to Canada.Guys, major news for people from UAE. Emirates Airlines just announced that they are suspending ALL passenger flights from March 25.

Yeah just read that now. I think we will see all airlines shut operations now for atleast a month or two. I really hope that IRCC announces an extension for those whose COPR is expiring within the next month as it is becoming not just dangerous to travel but also almost impossible with more and more airlines canceling flightsGuys, major news for people from UAE. Received a generic response. The advice repeated here many times is to send a web form to IRCC with your details to indicate cannot travel due to travel restrictions. This will be recorded in the system .

But you sent the form in that is the main thing. Nobody can expect an individual response to hundreds of web formsReceived a generic response.
I have received a response from the Abudhabi IRCC office whereby they stated that they will be as flexible as possible if I was unable to travel before the expiry of the COPR due to travel restrictions.Yes , please the IRCC are usually very specific - THEY DID NOT CONFIRM THAT COPR WILL BE EXTENDED, they stated that it will be brought to review.
that is extremely risky if you dont want to loose your hard earned COPR , there is a possibility that extension could be refused depending on your case.
I dont want to loose my COPR , in the same time I dont want to be stranded somewhere or move to Canada during a quarantine.
they gave a clear guidance to everything except the COPR , it very distressing and difficult for me.
worst situation of my life.
N.B. I did and got a generic reply
