Things will be back on track after mid of May 2020 so expect a lag of 3 months due to Covid-19 disaster.
Oh well. It was hard not to see things more optimistically a couple months ago.
Hi All,
Any updates on the ceremony front ? Do we know when we can expect cancelled ceremonies to take place?
Thanks

This webpage was just updated Tuesday. Some links were just updated yesterday. Most recent information about processing is rather blunt:
"
Due to the impacts of coronavirus disease (COVID-19),
-- we can't process applications normally
-- we can't provide accurate processing times"
Those familiar with reading bureaucracy-ese (bureaucrat lingo) can readily read, between the lines, this means that non-essential processing is effectively on-hold, not happening.
For how long? Any forecast is whistling in the wind.
Bad news for more than a few, no doubt. But not nearly such bad news as that for the families of the 120 or so Canadians who are dying every day due to this disease. Probably not nearly so bad as it is for the thousands of small business operators in Canada whose business will not survive the impact of this disease, let alone the tens of thousands who are their employees.
We are in a rough patch folks. Getting more than a bit bumpy. Expect some bruising. There's a glimmer of light on the horizon, but that's mostly opening the window just a bit in order to let in just enough light to navigate our way through all the crap that is yet to come.
