Hi all! I was wondering if anyone has had experience or knowledge on what applying for spousal pr a second time looks like. I hear they process it faster. I dont know if there is some bias ect. If anyone has any experience or heard anything from lawyers or consultant let me know. Thanks and good luck to everyone!

No, it doesn't get processed faster.

No bias but a previous refusal can certainly lead to higher scrutiny on a new application, particularly if the first was refused as non-genuine.

1. If the refusal was appealed and lost. IRB would most likely invoke "res judicata" in that the matter has already been decided. That is usually why the 2nd/3rd application is quicker.

In regards to inland apparently you can only appeal to the federal court which i hear is tough. Any ideas on cases where theres no appeal and a second app? Does res juidicata apply here and whats that mean?
