You can check at the CIC website regarding instructions for obtaining Police Certificate for every country. You can submit your application without police certificate/s or include if it is available. Otherwise, for some countries like Singapore, CIC will send you a letter request to present when you apply for police certificate.

Thank you for the info..appreciated

Just an update on my brothers application.
My brother sent a webform message requesting that ircc resend the email to the employer. They did, thank God and it was received by employer on Friday, March 13th. The officer (initials KO) is only giving the employer 15 days to submit the documents by MAIL, not even by email. They're asking for NOA, employment letter and a medical disability certificate. In light of the current covid situation, do you think the officer would be lenient if the documents dont arrive there on time? Not even sure how Canada Post or other couriers are handling this right now.

Btw, hope everyone is keeping safe and are healthy. God bless us all.
We have the same v.o. they usually ask for docs by email.

Hi I am new in this forum,

My PR application is still in process. I applied under the interim pathway. I applied May 2019 but it took my application a while due to family issues and complications. All my family members are here my kids and my ex spouse. We all came here as visitors but fortunate couple needed a caregiver to look after their son. To make the story short I got into the program and my kids were given the chance to study here in secondary school under my working permit. but In a little while my husband left us for another woman. He remain in canada cause he got also into the program as a nanny only that with the note in his work permit that he’s not eligible to apply for a permanent residence.
After years of me being nanny I applied for my PR as well as my kids as dependant but put my ex husband as non accompanying due to the fact that we’re separated but can’t file any divorce papers for some religious matter. I made a separation agreement and passed it along my application. My son will soon graduate from secondary school this May and needs to be accepted in a college program and my work permit will soon expires. He’s turning 18, this year. Here are the questions that bothers me:

1. Does my employer need to apply for a New LMIA for me to continue on with my status? Cause even my open work permit is still no result yet.

2. What will happen to my son’s schooling?
Will he be considered domestic student since our PR application is in process or does he need to apply for a study permit and be considered international student?
I tried to call different colleges and institutions but they cannot answer this yet.

3. Can my ex-spouse make an appeal to include himself in my application because he knows I put him as non accompanying and he’s trying to get into my application.

4.Is there anyway that my PR application be expedited due to this circumstances?

Please if anyone could help me answer all these questions and guide me to make solutions in these matters.

Thank you.

I need some clarifications please.I sent my application to Edmonton since 14th Feb but due to the courier I used the document got to Canada on the 2nd march and I already applied for work permit here in Nigeria by 11th Feb and biometrics done 4th of march, Just a week after biometrics, my work permit refused saying I dont have ties I Nigeria. We are family of 4. The program allows my family to accompany me.Please what should I do next?Need ur candid opinion and suggestions. Thanks
I am Nigerian too. I have a feeling that theres a mistake somewhere with your application. Did you take your time to read the application instructions:
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/caregivers/child-care-home-support-worker/no-experience-apply.html

The applications is completely paper based, you send in both the work permit (for you and your spouse) and the study permits for your kids by mail (post).
The only thing you do online is the payments.

If you did all that correctly, you should have recieved an AOR at least 6weeks after they receieved the application.

Again since the Home Child Care provider immigration and the home support worker immigration pilots are basically IMMIGRATION pathways, you do not need to have anything tieing you back to your home country.

So go back and read up on the instructions well and see where you got the process wrongly.
