Starting this thread for the fall 2020 admission related questions. I have applied to the MPC program in Ryerson for the fall 2020 session and would like the other applicants to further post their queries and timeline when they receive any offer from the university. Thanks.

I applied for masters in professional communications. But now I wonder, what my chances are because I did email to the director of program coordinator and he replied this to me..... see below

We are currently moving ahead with the admissions process.

We'll be making our decisions in the next couple of weeks.

I'll note that our program welcomes international students but has very few spots for them due a number of circumstances. In past years we've accepted 1 international student per year (but sometimes none). Given that this is the case, the competition amongst international applicants is significant.

I am not sure but I am really not happy with this because I contacted the program department and spoke to them before applying to this course, I believe if this is the case they should have atleast warned me before. As only offering 1 international is really a gamble to apply for.
